Quite the experience here and sadly my first 1 star review. I took my car in, in September, for a regular maintenance check up. They ended up finding many issues that had gone previously undiagnosed and I was very happy with their service and attention to detail. I ended up spending $2800 + new tires (they recommended Discount Tire) on suspension control arms and ball joint assemblies, timing belt with water pump, and cam and crankshafts. Now I'm no car expert and I own an older car so I asked their genuine opinion if it was even worth making this expensive repair or if I should just get rid of it and use that money for the down payment of another car. The owner gave me his word that fixing the car was the right thing to do and that I should easily get another 100K miles out of it no problem. I appreciated their work and drove off and not more than 15 minutes after all my lights came on the dash including check engine light. I had to take it back to the shop which was my 2nd time there. Then less than 2 months after that another issue came up involving my plenum intake, bad coils and spark plugs. So they replaced all that for around $550 on my 3rd visit. Again its an older car so I

I won't take my car anywhere else. I've been going there since we moved to Round Rock in 2004. Charlie has always been honest and fair. The work is exactly right and no surprises.

I went to Jerry’s Garage concerned about my car and was immediately greeted by Charlie. He offered to check out my entire car as a courtesy service, and in a very short time, diagnosed the problem. My car is a 2011 Ford Escape, and the part needed for the repair had been discontinued. Charlie searched all dealers, local and not local, and found the part. He fixed my car, and my 2011 Ford Escape now drives like it did when I bought it! Jerry’s Garage does excellent service and repair and is honorable. Thank-you Charlie. My car overheated on the way out of Austin last weekend. Initially I took it to the closest place I could find without doing any due diligence. The place I took it to will remain nameless as I already reviewed their pitiful operation in an earlier review. The first "mechanics" told me my water pump, thermostat housing and serpentine belt all needed to be replaced for $1800. Seeking a second opinion I took my car to Jerry's late in the day on a Tuesday. The next morning they called and said that after tests and inspection that the coolant hose to the car's turbocharger needed to be replaced. Tricky work requiring lots of labor however my final bill was under $700! If you need your car fixed and are in the Austin area I strongly recommend Jerry's Auto - they are honest, prompt and experts.

I have been taking my vehicles to Jerry's Garage for several years now. I trust them to provide good service in a timely fashion at a reasonable price. Just recently, I brought my son's Tacoma to them with minor transmission fluid leak. They diagnosed the issue, but realized it was still under warranty and advised me to go to the dealership to get the vehicle serviced as the cost would be covered by Toyota. This is the level of integrity you can expect when you take your vehicle to Jerry's Garage in Round Rock, TX.
